I have decided to try and draw, sketch, or paint something small everyday for the upcoming year. I'll be using Photoshop, limiting myself to a grey-scale, hard brushes, changes in opacity, and minor smudging as I work in an attempt to get better at fast, accurate line art.

Occasionally, I may allow myself a limited palette so I don't lose too much adeptness with color.

I'm still deciding if I should upload every day or at the end of the week. I'll date each page for accountability's sake though. And I'll probably move these from my Main Gallery to Scraps at the end of all this.

Should be fun! Hopefully, we'll see improvement...

Tick tock goes the clock.
And what then shall we play?
Tick tock goes the clock,
Now summer's gone away.

Tick tock goes the clock.
And what then shall we see?
Tick tock, Until the day
Thou shalt marry me.

Tick tock goes the clock.
And all the years, they fly.
Tick tock, and all too soon,
You and I must die.

Tick tock goes the clock.
We laughed at Fate and mourned her.
Tick tock goes the clock,
Even for the Doctor.

Tick tock goes the clock.
He cradled and he rocked her.
Tick tock goes the clock.
Til River kills the Doctor.

Doctor, great and good,
He turned away from violence,
When he understood
The falling of the Silence.

I want my Dr. Who to come faster!!!!

Squee! Married!

1 min read
So, the wedding went off beautifully!

Aside from actually getting married, the best part was when the 18 month old flowergirl and her 4 year old cousin, the ringbearer made it down the aisle - they were SO cute! Added bonus was that the pastor did not think that they'd be able to do it. Hah! We have strong genes in our family! No wusses here!

The ride to the reception was fun. The Beloved Husband had made us PB&Js, so we snacked on those on our way to the hall. At one point, we had to stop at a red light and a couple began to cross in front of our car. They stared and stared, until the guy shyly waved. I laughed and waggled my fingers back as I held my sandwich away from my dress and checked to make sure my veil wasn't falling off.

It was a fantastic evening, and you know, I didn't even mind dancing!

Soooo not enough time!

:work:

Well, it's here... :onfire: MEGA-PANIC-CRUNCHTIME!!! :onfire: Stressiness has become a permanent resident at the Campbell home... maybe in April or May we'll be able to boot her out (yes, Stressiness is female, at least, I'm assuming so, given that my fiance and my father are somewhat immune to it).

There are so many details that just can't be done ahead of time... like flowers, food, decorating, etc. Mom and I have been looking at Wedding Day and the itinerary is starting to look something like this:

7am           - get up
8am           - early service at church
9:45am        - possibly breakfast, possibly go home and deal with any flowers that did not get done the night before.
11am          - Get crew to Reception Hall - begin decorating
Noonish       - Decorate Sanctuary
1 - 2:30pm    - More Decorating, Get any food not at Reception Hall to Reception Hall
2:30 - 4:45pm - Hair, Makeup, etc.
4 - 5pm       - Pics with Bridesmaids (me)/ Pics with Groomsmen (Beloved Fiance)
5pm           - WALK DOWN THE AISLE
5:45ish       - Guests leave for reception/Wedding Party pics
6:30ish       - Get to Reception, maybe eat
7:30ish       - First Dance
8pm           - cut the cake
9 - 9:30pm    - head out

This is a very rough plan, but nonetheless, it shows what a busy day it will be. Juuust a leetle daunting to think about. :faint: I'm praying now for things to go smoothly then. Luckily, aside from some drama surrounding a forgotten birthday and an issue with the baker, everything else is going well.

The Beloved Fiance is finally Gainfully Employed! This means we can get an apartment - NO COUCH-SURFING FOR US! Haha! (You'd be amazed at how much subconscious stress can be generated by the thought of living at home after you're married). Also, my braces come off in time for the wedding! Joy!

Now... back to those books on how to make boutonnieres... :reading:
