'Tis The Season...

Tue Dec 22, 2009, 11:28 PM
  • Mood: Christmas Spirited
  • Listening to: Country
  • Reading: Guardian Angel
Well, Finals are over, as is my church's annual Christmas Concert (of which I am Head Roadie, Mistress of the Sound Crew) and now I am free to sit back and enjoy the ensuing Holiday Insanity.

I've finished my Christmas Shopping for my family; all I have to do tomorrow is pick up a few things and I can finish creating my last two gifts for a pair of close friends. After that brief foray into the madness that is our downtown at Christmastime, all I shall have left is to wrap the items I have and pray that Amazon delivers my parents' prezzies in time.

After all of that, I'll be able to rest and start a couple of paintings that I've had bouncing around in my brain for the past few months.

Yays! :D

Great gallery, sorry that I have no time to post a comment on each drawing ;). Very cool style, maybe you could add more shadding in some of the drawings (I know it's not easy, but it makes pictures sooo much better)

Thank you so much for the kind comment! It's always great to get good, constructive feedback. =)

What you say is true... shading can really make or break a drawing in my humble opinion... in fact, it's one element I admire in your work; you really have shading down and it adds a definite depth to your work that is very pleasing to the eye!
:iconalkasa:
Wow, thank you, that's probably the nicest comment I ever got ;)
Go an drawing :)
